Zombie

With a love for Halloween, creativity and two straight weeks of hard work; my crew and I were able to create this stunning music video for my single Zombie.

Moonlight

Moonlight is a short film made in honor of a piece written by Tamara Salam. The video encapsulates the emotional energy of the poem as it shows imagery from special moments shared between the writer and the subject. The raw audio of Tamara’s recitation of the Poem emulates the softness and purity of the friendship as she describes her best friend as “light & love” and “moonlight & sunshine”. WhoisZoha? developed the ukulele track for the video, as well as recorded and edited all of the footage.

LUNGS

Lungs is an experimental short made to represent the addiction and romanticization of smoking cigarettes. The film uses ear wrenching audio to amplify the imagery and steadily increase the anxiety of the viewers. Filmed, edited and sound design by WhoisZoha?

Elizabeth & the Bar

This short documentary is about Elizabeth and her experience growing up around her family’s bar, Phyliss’s Musical Inn. This popular Chicago bar is located on Division Street and is known for its live music performances, glass block windows, and jazzy energy. The documentary explores the bar and it’s history within their family in a lighthearted and nostalgic manner; allowing the viewer to see behind the scenes of the struggles and rewards of running a family business.

Senior Speech

Senior year is always a time filled with nostalgic memories and anxieties for our futures. Originally created for a final project for AP literature, the short features my senior speech, some wholesome life advice, and my original song “Windy City.” The film encourages healthy growth and exploring new ideas and places through personal experiences and appreciation for friends and family.

Honey Bun

Honey Bun is a Short film I worked on as a Gaffer.

Witten and directed by Alex Tammaru, the story takes place late night at a local diner. Jamie meets up with her brother and fellow hitman-for-hire, Oliver to discuss the recent murder of their father. This neo-noir pairs life and death stakes with the tension of an estranged family reunion for a truly gripping standoff.
